Why the best song in Jannat was chopped off

Even though Bhatts have just delivered a box office hit JANNAT, fans of their cinema and music have still been left complaining.

Reason? Best song of the album, 'Door Naa Jaa', was not just refrained from being promoted on music channels, it also got chopped off from the final print.

"Why did they have to do this with 'Door Naa Jaa' which is one of the purest compositions by Pritam", rues Nitin Sharma, an IT professional who has been a hardcore Pritam fan, "I agree that it is not one of those 'dhinchaak' tunes by the composer which set the dance floor afire.

But believe me, I have cried everytime while listening to this song. It is so painful and so true to someone's emotions who is loosing it all in his life."

Written by Sayeed Quadri, 'Door Naa Ja' is a difficult song to sing since it has almost negligible instruments for most of the initial duration.

Still, this Rana Mazumdar sung rock track created a mesmerizing impact the moment it was heard in the album. The song required the singer to change pitch multiple number of times and the way he held the attention of a listener was commendable.

Still, the makers chose to leave the song out of the narrative. Here is the reason why?

"Believe me, for me too this was the best song of the album. It was my favorite", says Kunal Deshmukh, "We wanted to place the song when Emraan Hashmi dies in the film's climax. It was supposed to be a background piece with 2-4 lines playing."

So why the change in plans?

"Well, Bhatt saab felt that if a fresh song like this plays at the very end of the film, and that too for only a few seconds, it may not register an impact. Audience may perhaps be left confused.

So it was decided that the sad version of 'Zara Zara' would have been a better alternative since audience would have already heard the number twice in the film by then", details Kunal.

He is hopeful though that the song would eventually find it's due.

"I now to have to ensure that the song finds a place in some other film of mine. It is too good a song to be left out just like that", signs off Kunal.

Aamir Khan's decision to release his nephew's debut vehicle 'Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na' on July 4 has baffled Harry Baweja, who fixed the same date long back to open his son Harman's launch pad 'Love Story 2050'.

While Aamir is determined to make a success out of Imran's career, anything for family seems to be the marketing motto for Harry who put in more than Rs.800 million in the hi-fi sci-fi 'Love Story 2050' to ensure his son's super success. Apart from that Priyanka Chopra is playing female lead in the film.

'The Bawejas were shocked,' said a source close to the film. 'They had planned and strategised their film's release almost six months in advance. They had spoken to all their potential competitors from Salman Khan to Ram Gopal Varma to Apoorva Lakhia and Aziz Mirza to Yash Raj and Tips.

'Harman called them up personally to make sure his film comes on a free Friday. Then suddenly Aamir showed up to create an almost 'Saawariya' - 'Om Shanti Om' crisis. The 'Jaane Tu' release was nowhere in sight when 'Love Story 2050' was announced. Suddenly, they came out of the blue,' the source told.

Harry made a panic call to Aamir.

'Harry knows Aamir from the time he did B. Subhash's 'Love Love Love' where Harry was an assistant director. Ever since they've been in touch. Aamir told him he was indeed thinking of coming on July 4.'

May 27, 2008 (Celeb News) - Unlike Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan, Salman Khan appears to be blogging from his deep pockets not his heart. His posts come through as contrived and there seems to be a disconnect between him and his blog readers.

He appears to be paying someone, not so smart, to write his blog for him, at the behest of a SET marketing honcho, purely to create a buzz for his upcoming reality show, 10 Ka Dum.

Three days, three posts, all spent explaining the rationale for 10 Ka Dum, and alluding to the irrational within him as biddings of his heart, not intellect, with a bit of Urdu poetry thrown in for good effect.

We wonder how many more reasons he is going to give, in a bid to stoke up interest in his reality show, before he decides to moves on to something that his fans really want to know about him.

So far, there is no evidence that Salman is reading the comments being posted on the blog, but we can expect that to change, because even SET marketing honchos are not that dumb.

In all fairness, Salman has yet to claim the blog as his own. The url for the blog, http://duskadum.blogspot.com suggests it belongs to the reality show not Salman.

Kajol says yes to film with Shah Rukh Khan

May 27, 2008 (Celeb News) - Kajol has agreed to play romantic lead opposite Shah Rukh Khan in producer / director Karan Johar's next film - My Name is Khan.

The 32-year-old, who has become very selective with her films since she became a mother, had withheld consent pending a detailed script narration, which has now been completed.

Karan Johar, who has referred to Shah Rukh and Kajol as Bollywood's dream onscreen pair and has a good personal rapport with both the stars, is probably ecstatic with Kajol's consent.

Not so ecstatic would be Kareena Kapoor, who was waiting to step into Kajol's shoes, nursing her own ambitions to star opposite Shah Rukh.

Part of the film is to be shot in California, something else that Kajol was concerned about, since it would disrupt her family life. She had earlier turned down Karan Johar's Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (2006), because it was shot extensively in the US and her daughter Nyasa was very young.

However, since Nyasa is five years old now, it should be easy for Kajol to take her on location to the US where Karan, we are sure, will ensure they are well looked after.

Filming for My Name is Khan is expected to start within a month.

The first half of the film is based on a true story that happened to a couple and Karan Johar has bought the story rights. Shah Rukh will play a Muslim who gets wrongly detained on a flight because his last name is Khan and the authorities believe that must make him a terrorist.

Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan have so far starred together in the following films, all of which turned out to be hits.

Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed that she felt 'sexually charged', while doing her scenes with her Iron Man co-star Robert Downey Jr.

The 35-year-old actress had recently spiced up her looks with killer heels and low-cut tops, and she revealed that she enjoyed the on-screen chemistry that went on with Downey Jr. "Robert kept me on my toes and kept our onscreen relationship sexually charged," The Sun quoted her as saying.

Two of Hollywood's most lusted after actresses Scarlett Johansson and Penelope Cruz are set to steam up screens with a lesbian kiss.

The scene, set in a red-tinted photography dark room, features in Woody Allen's upcoming release Vicky Cristina Barcelona. Later, the women have a menage a trois with Oscar winning actor Javier Bardem.

This is not the first time that Cruz is sharing an on screen lesbian kiss.

Lindsay Lohan's mom and sister have dismissed rumours that the troubled starlet is a lesbian, insisting that such stories are completely a piece of fiction.

It was reported that the 'Mean Girls' star shares a romantic relationship with pal Samantha Ronson. Now Dina and Ali Lohan have spoken about the lesbian gossip doing the rounds.

While promoting her new reality show, 'Living Lohan', the duo said that the rumour is just the latest in the long line of silly stories the press fire at the family.

How come this sudden announcement about a film with Harman Baweja and Priyanka Chopra?
It wasn't supposed to come out. I don't know how the news leaked out, and wrong news. People said it was based on a play. Actually it's based on a novel. It's book called Kimball Ravenswood by Madhu Rye. It takes me far away from my last three films.

But those three films were as far removed from one another as possible?
They were. Lagaan, Swades and Jodhaa-Akbar had the element of drama common to them. What's Your Rashi is a light frothy romantic comedy.

I've never done one of those before. After ten years and three films that required me to do rigorous research at last I'm doing a film that requires no research.

But surely you had a team to do research on those projects?
No I like to do it on my own. Only when I do the research am I able to absorb and understand the subject. In What's Your Raashee? I don't have to go into historical details.But a good comedy is a challenge of its own. The process of arriving at the humour is extremely difficult.

Weren't you supposed to do another film with Hrithik after Jodhaa-Akbar?
I am extremely keen. But right now he's extremely busy with his home productions. I've a subject for him which I'll do later. After Jodhaa-Akbar I was sure I wanted to do something non-historical light and fun.And I knew I wanted to make a romantic comedy. But I didn't know which script.

What kind of romantic comedy are you talking about?
I'm thinking of those middle-of-the-road films by Frank Capra, Hrishikesh Mukherjee and Basu Chatterjee like It's A Wonderful Life, Chupke Chupke and Baaton Baaton Mein.

How and why Harman and Priyanka?
When I saw Harman in his trailers of Love Story 2050 I requested his father to show me the rushes. He turned out to be fantastic. He's a superb actor.

I was confirmed in my belief that he's the best person for the part. Harman came into the picture first. Then I signed Priyanka. I'm very impressed by Love Story 2050. It breaks the mould, like Krissh.

If a person flies it was always said, 'Yeh Hanumanjee ki kripa hai'. If a person travels in time it's always reincarnation. Not in Krissh and Love Story 2050. It's a straight sci-fi film. A genre we're scared to attempt.

Isn't there a risk of people saying it's gimmicky casting?
I always go by my hunch. When I cast Hrithik in Jodhaa-Akbar I had heard the same complaints. 'Hrithik as Akbar? What's wrong with you?

You shouldn't make a historical, and that too with Hrithik.' Earlier during Lagaan people thought I had gone mad getting Aamir to wear a dhoti. I'm sure Harman will be absolutely correct for the part.

So are you taking this casting to be a challenge?
The challenge for me is the script. The actors come later. For the past two months I've been in a fragile state of mind wondering what I'd make next.

I was completely jittery. Now that I've made up my mind to make What's Your Rashi and my two protagonists are Harman and Priyanka are in place, the rest will just follow smoothly.

Are you anxious?
No, relieved. You'll be surprised to know I started Swades immediately after Lagaan and Jodhaa-Akbar right after Swades. So there's no prolonged period of turmoil for me. Only the research in the earlier films took longer. Since What's Your Rashi has no research I can start immediately.

Any changes from book to film?
Whatever is required to make it cinematic.There'd be songs. I've bought the rights from the author. I'll be co-writing the script with a colleague Naushil Mehta. But I won't be changing the basics.

So I can read the book and know the entire plot of your film?
(straightfaced) I've bought every available copy of the novel. You'll just have to wait for the film. No, I'm only kidding.

Hope we get our first female Indian Idol 2008 this year: Javed Akhtar - Star Interview

Young songwriters don't give enough importance to the craft of poetry, says screenwriter and lyricist Javed Akhtar. 'Passion, emotion and fantasy are important,' said Akhtar, known for weaving magic through his words.

'Writing is an addiction and once you get addicted, it's very difficult to concentrate on other things. It makes you lazy and no job seems more interesting than writing,' said the man who wrote blockbusters like 'Sholay' with Salim Khan and went on to word some of Bollywood's best known songs.

Akhtar, who was here for the auditions of 'Indian Idol 4', says judging is a cushy job.

'You sit back, relax and comment or criticise others' performance. Jokes apart, by judging shows I get to meet so many talents with whom otherwise I would not have interacted,' Akhtar told.

Hoping that the next Indian Idol would be a woman, he said: 'In our society, a woman has to be three times better than a man to compete with him and thank god that is not difficult. Hope the mindset changes this year and we get our first female Indian Idol.'

Excerpts from the interview:

Q: This is the fourth time in a row that you will be judging 'Indian Idol'. Any comments?
A: 'Indian Idol' is the first talent hunt show and it's a win-win situation for all. First, the audience is entertained. Second, it's lucrative for the channel. Third, small town talents, who never thought of making it to the nation, get a platform to showcase their talents. Fourth, we, the judges, get paid just by sitting idle and criticising others.

Q: Why is it that we have not had a female Indian Idol so far?
A: It's very disappointing for me as well. If you have watched the previous shows, you would have noticed that as long as I could, I helped the girl contestants to get totally fair chances.

But somehow voting mein garbar ho jati hai harbar. (During voting, something wrong happens every time). The fact is in our society male contestants are preferred by not only men but also women. In our society, a woman has to be three times better than a man to compete with him and thank god that is not difficult.

Hope the mindset changes this year and we get our first female Indian Idol. As it is we are getting more girl contestants this time.

Q: Is it true that there is a lot of pressure on the judges?
A: We don't have any pressure. Our job is to choose the aspiring idols and present them to the public to choose. But, yes, at times there is a lot of pressure on the channel.

Most of the people who vote hardly have any knowledge of singing. So why take their votes for granted?

But ultimately it's the channel that decides the idol. Isn't it? How can the channel decide the idol? Every thing is computerised. Koi garbar karna (Doing anything wrong) is impossible.

Q: These days we are seeing a lot of Javed Akhtar - the judge in many reality shows. What is it in judging that interests you?
A: Judging is a cushy job. You sit back, relax and comment or criticise others' performance. Jokes apart, by judging shows I get to meet so many talents with whom otherwise I would not have interacted. In the show 'Lead India' I met some exceptionally talented intellectuals, in 'Indian Idol' I heard some immensely talented singers.

Q: Your son Farhan is all set to act in the Bollywood film 'Rocker'. How do you feel?
A: Farhan will be showing me the first cuts of his film within a few days. He pleasantly surprised me when he directed 'Dil Chahta Hai'. And now his new avatar will surely 'rock' me.

Q: Almost all members of your family (ex-wife Honey Irani, son Farhan Akhtar and daughter Zoya Akhtar) are directors. When are you going to direct a film?
A: Writing is an addiction and once you get addicted, it's very difficult to concentrate on other things. It makes you lazy and no job seems more interesting than writing. Often I think I will do this and that but ultimately land up with my pen and paper. I am too lazy to make films.

Q: What's your take about the young generation of lyricists?
A: Priorities of society over the last 30 years have dramatically changed. There is a shrinking of language in today's society. Young lyricists don't give enough importance to the craft of poetry.

Passion, emotion and fantasy are important. But craft is the science of lyrics writing. I personally believe that Bollywood songs were the worst in the 1980s. Thankfully, youngsters have realised that and are working at it.

Q: What are your forthcoming projects?
A: I have just finished writing a book on poetry called 'Lava'. Besides there are a few films; recent releases include 'Love Story 2050' and BR Films' 'Banda yeh bindaas hai'.

Q: Are you watching Twenty20? Which team are you supporting?
A: Though I have written the Mumbai Indians' team anthem, I have started watching the matches only recently. As for supporting a team, I only support India when it plays against other countries. Here it's an intra-country match. So no question of supporting, but only enjoying.

Q: What do you think about the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) team?
A: KKR-owner Shah Rukh Khan is an old friend of mine. So I wish the best for his team.

A. I get along invariably with men. I see how they talk and whether they know what they are talking. He should be well spoken and well informed, aware of the rest of the world as well. Q. Do you believe in going out on dates to know a person?
A. Yeah! Absolutely because other than that how will you know a person. Our parents and our grandparents did not have that luxury but we have it. So, we should use the chance and should make a conscious choice.

Q. Should your man woo you with flowers and all the other chivalrous trappings?
A. I am not very impressed with all these. I am a very instinctive person and I like those who do more straight talking and that with a proper sense. And honestly, when I was in college I used to get tons of flowers, so I don't get impressed by flowers at all.

Q. Are men and women different?
A. Yes, very different. But I don't say they are radically different. I won't say men are from Mars and women are from Venus.

Q. Is it possible to find the perfect man?
A. I don't think there is a perfect woman so likewise there is no perfect man. So you only should be lucky if you find a perfect man or woman.

Q. There is a lot of talk about giving space in a relationship, what's your definition of space?
A. I am a strong believer in that. You definitely need to give the other person space to grow.

By space I mean definitely following separate professions as I don't believe in forcing someone in doing something which he may not like.

You and your partner can have separate friends and there should be faith in one another giving proper space. You can have separate interest and when you have that there come many things to talk about.

Q. Would parental consent be important?
A. Yes, it's very important because, whether we like it or not, we all are product of our parents and if our parents don’t agree with us, I mean on logical basis not on the religious basis, then it would definitely cause you to think ten times.

Q. Given a chance to date a historical character, who would he be and why?
A. Oh my God! It has to be John F. Kennedy. He is so charismatic. I have read his books and I think he is amazing.

Q. What do you think about the institution of marriage?
A. I am definitely a believer in it, but if someone prefers to have a live in relationship she should not be forced to get married. But I personally feel that marriage is important.

Q. What would you do if your man turned out to be a gay?
A. I would congratulate him for keeping the secret for so long because I think he will have to be quite a smart guy if he manages to deceive me. I will probably feel less offended because he preferred another man and I can't be a man.

Q. Is sense of humor a must?
A. Not a must, but it would be nice if he has a sense of humor.

Q. Is there a Mr. Right hiding in the closet?
A. I have found my Mr. Right. Many people may not know but I am married.

Sonal Chauhan : Boyfriend arrested for slapping Sonal

Sonal Chauhan, who debuted in recently released 'Jannat', was allegedly slapped by her boyfriend Sahil Zaroo at the city airport.

According to onlookers, Sahil and Sonal met at the Santa Cruz domestic airport. While Sonal was collecting her boarding pass for a Hyderabad flight, Sahil got into an argument with her and slapped her. Sonal's father was present there when the incident occurred.

The CISF personnel handed Sahil over to Santa Cruz airport police.

"Sahil snatched her mobile and tried to embrace her while she resisted. So we slapped theft and molestation charges against him," said senior police inspector S M Ghuge.

Surprisingly, Chauhan registered a complaint in the name of Sonal Raghuraj Singh, 21. In her complaint, she said that she was a student.

The Andheri magistrate court on Wednesday remanded Sahil Zaroo, who was arrested by Delhi Police two years ago for allegedly supplying cocaine to Rahul Mahajan, to two days police custody for slapping Sonal on Tuesday at the domestic airport.

The police have also accused him of molesting her and stealing her mobile besides trespassing into the airport premises.

Make the move...to Google Accounts - Adsense

As you may remember, we started asking publishers to update your AdSense accounts to Google Accounts last May. When you do that, you can manage all of your Google products using one login and password, and also take advantage of new features like Site Authentication and the recently improved AdSense for search.

In the next few weeks, we'll soon be requiring all publishers to update to a Google Account. If you haven't yet updated your account, we recommend doing so as soon as possible to avoid any issues with account access later. Just sign in and follow the instructions in the wizard that will automatically appear. If you don't see the wizard, it means that your info has already moved to Google Accounts.

In messages to us and in the Help Forum, we've heard a number of concerns about moving to Google Accounts. We'd like to take a moment to address them.

I don't want to update my AdSense account to the Google Account I use for all of my other products. I'd prefer to keep them separate.

That's okay -- you can maintain multiple Google Accounts, so you're welcome to migrate your AdSense account to a different Google Account than the one you use for other products. For example, you could maintain your 'publisher@gmail.com' account for services like Gmail and Webmaster Tools, but create a new Google Account associated with 'publisher@yoursite.com' just to use for your AdSense account. When prompted to pick the radio button that best describes you, select 'I have an email address and password (Google Account) I already use with Google services like Gmail, Orkut, or the personalized home page.', and then 'I'd like to choose a new login name and password just for AdSense'.


Is this secure? I already gave AdWords with my credit card information and AdSense with my bank account info. I don't trust this.

Please be assured that we take the security of AdSense accounts very seriously, and your AdSense information will never be shared across products. We don't have access to your AdWords credit card from our end, and AdWords doesn't have access to your bank account information (if you've set up EFT). Again, if you'd prefer to keep your two accounts separate, just follow the instructions above.

I tried to update my account in the past, but I saw this error message: 'The Google Account you've selected is associated with another user.' What do I do?

It means that the email address you chose had previously been used to apply for an AdSense account (which may or may not have been approved). However, we've just clarified the messaging in our wizard to help you understand which situation applies to you. In most cases, we've found that publishers are attempting to update their login to an email address associated with an unapproved application. We've just made it possible to continue with the update process from within the wizard in this situation. If you're attempting to update to an email address being used for a different approved AdSense account, you'll receive further options and instructions.

What happens if I don't update?

If you choose not to update your account after the requirement change, you'll no longer be able to sign in to your account. As a result, we encourage you to begin updating your accounts as soon as possible.

The Google content network now accepts display ads served from qualified third-party vendors. Third-party ad serving has been a longstanding request from top brand AdWords advertisers who use third parties to create and manage their online campaigns. Initially, we will be only accepting third-party ads in English, but we hope to expand to other languages soon.

Making the Google content network more accessible to large brand advertisers also benefits AdSense publishers and end users. Third-party ad serving will introduce a greater variety of advertising into the Google content network, increase the inventory of quality display ads competing to show on AdSense publisher sites, and offer more engaging ads for end users. In the long run, we believe the increased inventory and ad competition will result in increased revenue for many AdSense publishers.

Rest assured that ad quality on the content network will remain one of our highest priorities. Only advertisers with whom we have proven relationships and who've clearly demonstrated commitments to our quality standards may participate in this program. And our policies governing ad content and formatting are unchanged.

How to control third-party ads shown on your site
The same ad management features for Google ads also apply to third-party ads. You can use the Ad Review Center to filter specific placement-targeted ads from appearing on your site. To block contextually-targeted ads from a given advertiser, you can use the Competitive Ad Filter. (The Ad Review Center currently only shows placement-targeted ads, not contextually-targeted ads.)

Optimizing your site to allow third-party ads
To allow third-party ads on your site:

1. Opt into image ads - Currently, third-party ads are only available in image or Flash, so they won't appear in text-only ad units.
   
   
2. Enable advertisers to target your AdSense channels - Most advertisers who use third-party ads are brand-conscious. They prefer to specify websites where their ads will appear in order to optimize the targeting and effectiveness of their campaigns.
   
   
3. Opt into placement targeting - Placement targeting will allow advertisers to target their ads specifically to your site.
   

Following these steps will enable your site to accept third-party ads. However, we can't guarantee where or when third-party ads will appear on your site.

May 18, 2008 (Celeb News) - Narnia stars walked the red carpet at Ziegfeld Theatre, New York, May 7, at the premiere of The Chronicles Of Narnia - Prince Caspian, the second film of the Narnia franchise from Walt Disney Pictures and Walden Media.

The first film in the series was The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005).

Some of the child stars from the predominantly British cast have matured into young adults since 2005. Anna Popplewell (Susan Pevensie), William Moseley (Peter Pevensie), Skandar Keynes (Edmund Pevensie) and Georgie Henley (Lucy Pevensie) looked cheerful and excited.

Anna Popplewell, 19, looked all grown in a red train gown. William Moseley, 20, was formally dressed in a suit and neck tie. Georgie, 12, looked adorably playful in a pink print puffball dress. Skandar Keynes looked cute and stylish dressed in a black sweater and blue dress shirt.

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian is a fantasy film based on Prince Caspian, the second published novel in C. S. Lewis' children's fantasy series The Chronicles of Narnia.

The four Pevensie children return to Narnia to aid a young prince (Ben Barnes) in his struggle for the throne against his corrupt uncle King Miraz (Sergio Castellitto).

Perry Moore, the film's executive producer said that Prince Caspian features all four of the children. He told the Daily Mail, "We wanted the kids back before they got too old to do it again."

The film will be released on May 16, 2008 in the United States, June 5, 2008 in Australia, and June 27, 2008 in the United Kingdom.

Work on the script began before The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe was released, so filming could begin before the actors grew too old for their parts. Director Andrew Adamson wanted to make the film more spectacular than the first, and created an action sequence not in the novel to up the ante.

The Narnians were designed to look wilder as they have been hiding from persecution, to stress the darker tone of the sequel. The filmmakers also took a Spanish influence for the antagonistic race of the Telmarines.

Filming began in February 2007 in New Zealand, but unlike the previous film, the majority of shooting took place in Central Europe, because of the larger sets available in those countries. To keep costs down, Adamson chose to base post-production in the UK, because of recent tax credits there.

May 18, 2008 (Celeb News) - Deepika Padukone says she and Ranbir Kapoor are engaged and hope to marry once their careers stabilize.

"We are on the threshold of our careers and have a long way to go," she says, but in five years she hopes to be "Mrs Kapoor and the leading lady of Bollywood."

Deepika made the surprising revelation while speaking with HT City over the phone from Bangkok, where she is currently on location for the film Chandni Chowk to China.

Ranbir proposed to her in November, shortly after the release of their debut films Saawariya and Om Shanti Om.

"And I happily said yes," she says, because she was deeply in love with him.

"Our parents are happy with our relationship."

The couple had met a few months earlier, through mutual friends, while filming Saawariya and Om Shanti Om.

"It was love at first sight. We were introduced by a mutual friend and we liked each other but we needed time for our love to grow before we could make a commitment."

Referring to frequent rumors in the tabloid press about strains in their relationship Deepkia says they have learnt to laugh about them.

"At times it can be really upsetting. As we are open about our relationship, people should give some amount of respect to our relationship by not cooking up rumors," she said.

She admitted that the busy schedules of the two young stars keeps them apart over long spells but says:

"Ranbir understands as he is a part of the fraternity. The gelling force of our relationship is that we understand each other."

UFO in Mexico, Flying Human or an Alien Craft above the skies of Mexico VIDEO

Sensational sightings of a flying human above the skies of Mexico could be genuine, says a paranormal expert.

The mysterious woman-like figure was caught on camera as it hovered above mountains in Nuevo Leon city.

UFO watchers said the figure appeared to be wearing a cape, leading to claims that it was a witch or wizard when it was first seen in 2006.

Now Mexico’s leading UFO expert Anna Luisa Cid says the sightings were true after carrying out her own investigations.

“I think that the possibility is there,” Cid said. “An imaginary object is not recorded on film, nor does it produce over 40 witnesses.”

Nuevo Leon UFO club managed to film the spooky flying character.

And policeman Leonardo Samaniego also claimed a floating person had dropped out of the sky.

“In conclusion, from my professional point of view, both cases are real,” Cid told the Ghosttheory.com Web site.

After viewing the UFO club’s video, Samaniego’s said, “I do not believe the entity to be a witch, but I do know that it is something that we cannot explain.”

A 15-minute film of Marilyn Monroe engaging in oral sex with an unidentified man will be kept from public view by a New York businessman who has bought it for $1.5 million, the broker of the deal said on Monday.

Memorabilia collector Keya Morgan said he recently arranged the sale of the silent, black-and-white film from the son of a dead FBI informant who possessed it to a wealthy Manhattan businessman who wants to protect Monroe's privacy.

"The gentleman who bought it said out respect for Marilyn he's not going to make a joke of it and put it on the Internet and try to exploit her," said memorabilia collector Keya Morgan.

"That's not his intention and I would never get my name involved if that were to happen."

Monroe is clothed and the man's head remains out of the frame for the entire 15 minutes of the film, said Morgan, who watched it.

Monroe was rumored to have had an affair with U.S. President John F. Kennedy, and Morgan said then FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover, a Kennedy rival, went to great lengths to try to prove it was Kennedy in the film.

One of Monroe's ex-husbands, the late baseball great Joe DiMaggio, once tried to buy it from the collector for $25,000 but "he would not part with it," according to FBI files on Monroe that are available on the FBI Web site.

Morgan is a well-known collector who owns memorabilia from the estates of Monroe and DiMaggio and said he was friends with Monroe's other two husbands, Jim Dougherty and Arthur Miller.

He said he learned of the existence of the film while working on a documentary about Monroe, who died in August 1962 at age 36. A former FBI agent told him about it, and Morgan said he confirmed it by tracking down the son of the FBI informant, who had provided a copy to the FBI.

"I thought the FBI agent was embellishing it for my documentary. I never believed it once until I pulled up the FBI document (referring to the film)," Morgan said.

The late informant's son had the original while the copy remains classified in the FBI files, said Morgan, whose deal was first reported by the New York Post on Monday.

"The FBI agent that I interviewed said J. Edgar Hoover was completely obsessed. A team of nine individuals were analyzing the tape inside a lab. J. Edgar Hoover brought in a few prostitutes who allegedly had been with President Kennedy and they tried to ... see if that was really President Kennedy."

An FBI spokesmen declined to comment except to point out the Monroe files available online, which refer to the film but make no mention of Hoover's purported interest.

But the news someone in the FBI was the movie had been leaked out to a person, who may or not use for financial purpose, no one did comment on who that individual was...

The 15-year-old churchgoing daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus said in a statement on Sunday that she was embarrassed about some photos released on the Internet and others to be published in Vanity Fair magazine.

The first series of photos, which circulated on the Internet last week, showed Cyrus draped over the lap of her then-boyfriend, her producer's son, while another showed her revealing part of her green bra.

She is also starring in some as-yet released shots by celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz in which she appears to be topless and wrapped in a blanket. These are set to be published in Vanity Fair magazine's June edition.

"For Vanity Fair, I was so honored and thrilled to work with Annie. I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be 'artistic' and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed," Cyrus said in a statement published on People magazine's Web site.

The Disney Channel backed up the rising star saying in a statement that "a situation was created to deliberately manipulate a 15-year-old in order to sell magazines."

No one from Vanity Fair was immediately available to comment.

But in a statement to the TV show "Entertainment Tonight," Vanity Fair defended itself.

"Miley's parents and/or minders were on the set all day. Since the photo was taken digitally, they saw it on the shoot and everyone thought it was a beautiful and natural portrait of Miley," said the magazine's statement.

Regarding the photos on the Internet, Cyrus said these were "silly, inappropriate shots" and she was sorry if she had disappointed anyone.

"I appreciate all the support of my fans, and hope they understand that along the way I am going to make mistakes and I am not perfect," she said.

"Most of all, I have let myself down. I will learn from my mistakes and trust my support team. My family and my faith will guide me through my life's journey."

Late last year, some candid photos of Cyrus frolicking with a female friend during a sleepover raised some eyebrows. She said at the time that there was "nothing wrong" with those photos.

Cyrus rocketed to fame as "Hannah Montana" on the Disney Channel's TV show of the same name about a girl who leads a double life as a teenager and singing sensation.
